Lancaster Harley Davidson provides motorcycle enthusiasts with shiny bikes, stylish gear, and a riding safety course held right outside the shop.
As warmer weather approaches, motorcyclists are gearing up to hit the roads, and Lancaster Harley-Davidson is offering safety courses to help riders stay safe. Shop offers bikes, gear and safety trainingLancaster Harley Davidson provides motorcycle enthusiasts with shiny bikes, stylish gear, and a riding safety course held right outside the shop. 'It's a desirable location, right next to a Harley shop. So who wouldn't want to visit a Harley shop while learning how to ride,' retail manager Sara Spahr said.
Safety remains top priorityWhile enjoying the ride is important, Spahr stressed that safety is always the priority. 'You know, anytime I hear of a fatal accident, it hits, because that could be me. You know we're always taking the risk of going out on the motorcycle, and we might not come back,' Spahr said. The next five motorcycle safety courses hosted at Lancaster Harley-Davidson are already booked, highlighting the importance riders place on safety.
More riders choosing trikesSpahr also noted that some riders are switching from two wheels to three, opting for trikes. 'So the biggest thing is balance. So a lot of people, when they get older, they have health issues. They still want to ride, still want to keep on the road,' Spahr said. Trikes are especially popular among women, older riders, or anyone who has difficulty holding up an 800-pound bike.
