A wanted fugitive, Michael Vandeberghe, led Montgomery County deputies on a motorcycle chase that ended in a crash at George Bush Intercontinental Airport.
– A wanted man is behind bars after deputies say he took off on a motorcycle and led them on a chase that ended at George Bush Intercontinental Airport . Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office , members of the East Patrol Command’s Crime Reduction Unit were working a fugitive investigation Wednesday near FM 1485 and FM 2090 when they spotted Michael Vandeberghe, 46, leaving the area on a black 2011 Harley-Davidson.
Deputies tried to pull him over, but investigators say he didn’t stop — and instead sped off.The pursuit pushed into Houston and wrapped up at IAH, where deputies say Vandeberghe hit the outside of the international terminal.
