A Missouri man who disappeared while visiting family in San Antonio was found dead in the Salado Creek Greenway . The body of Jarvis McIntyre, 26, was discovered in the creek bed just off the greenway in the 1200 block of Holbrook Drive at around 9:30 a.m. on Friday, San Antonio police confirmed Monday. The Bexar County Medical Examiner 's Office performed an autopsy and did not immediately find an apparent cause and manner of death.

Inmate dies after being found unresponsive in cell, sheriff's office says Police said there was a 911 call made June 9 at 1:36 p.m. to the 1200 block of Holbrook where McIntyre would be found. The caller said he was being chased by an individual with a rifle. The caller provided limited details on his whereabouts. Officers went to the scene but did not find the caller or witnesses. The area is a stretch of paved walking trail along Salado Creek next to a two-way street.
