22-year-old charged with killing two men in west end shooting
Micah Hunt, 22, was arraigned Tuesday morning, charged with two counts of murder. He is being held in the Hamilton County Jail on a $2 million bond. The charges stem from an early morning shooting on Feb.
25 in the Villages of Roll Hill on the city’s west side.A warrant was issued for Hunt on Monday. He was arrested and booked into the Hamilton County Jail on Tuesday.According to court documents, witness and video evidence helped lead police to Hunt. Little information has been released on what led up to the shooting. Mitch Morris, founder of Save Our Youth: Kings & Queens nonprofit, said as summer approaches, the community needs to work together to stop the violence. “It’s horrible. This gun violence is out of hand and it’s been for some time now,” Morris said. “We didn’t just get into this overnight so it’s going to take a little work to get out of it.”Last week in Roll Hill, a man was arrested for shooting at another person. In December, a 35-year-old was shot and killed.
