Houstonians and Texans are reacting to Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo 's speech Monday evening in which she spoke about what she considers to be the triumphs of Vice President Kamala Harris and the failures of former President Donald Trump during the opening night of the Democratic National Convention. In her two-and-a-half minute speech, Hidalgo highlighted the assistance President Joe Biden and Harris provided Texas in times of disaster, and critiqued a lack of support from Trump.
