Alex Cooper, the host of the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, shared photos of her growing baby bump on Instagram, announcing her pregnancy with her husband, Matt Kaplan. The couple, who met on a Zoom call during the COVID-19 pandemic, tied the knot in April 2024. However, reports surfaced that they were having marital issues, with Matt allegedly being sweet to Alex in the beginning but changing once they moved in together. Kaplan, the film producer, has also been accused of berating and threatening the staff at his and Cooper’s production company, Unwell Network.

Matt fully courted Alex and was so sweet with her in the beginning, the insider claimed to the outlet. Once they moved in together, that’s when things changed. Sources close to the couple said rumors of tension in the marriage are false and they’ve held out as long as they could to announce their baby news.
