Mattel unveils the highly anticipated Masters of the Universe and ThunderCats crossover action figure line, featuring iconic characters reimagined in each other's universes.
Mattel has officially revealed the highly anticipated Masters of the Universe and ThunderCats crossover action figure line-up slated for release in April 2025. The gaming giant first teased this collaboration at last year's San Diego Comic-Con, and fans have been eagerly awaiting its arrival. The first wave of figures features iconic characters reimagined in each other's universes.
Lion-O, the powerful leader of the ThunderCats, takes on an Eternia-inspired look with the iconic Sword of Omens. Cheetara, known for her incredible speed, gets a makeover with both her traditional look and Eternian-style armor. One of the most exciting additions is Skell-Ra, a fusion of Skeletor and Mumm-Ra. This menacing figure boasts swappable heads, a reversible cape, and interchangeable armor pieces, allowing collectors to transform him between his two monstrous forms. Completing the wave is Battle Cat, reimagined as the humanoid warrior Battle Cat-Man. He sports a ThunderCats-inspired helmet, harness, bracers, and claw accessories, adding a unique twist to the classic character. Each figure is designed at the Origins 5.5-inch scale, offering impressive articulation and detailed design. Collectors can expect these figures to hit stores in April 2025, with prices ranging from $19.99 to $29.99. Stay tuned for specific release dates and further updates. This crossover promises to be a must-have for fans of both Masters of the Universe and ThunderCats, offering a fresh and exciting take on these beloved franchises
