GEAUGA COUNTY, Ohio - The Geauga County Sheriff’s Office made residents aware of a scam Monday that has been circulating in the county. According to the post, individuals are receiving phone calls from someone identifying themselves as “ Lieutenant Allen Taylor ” or “ Lieutenant Allen Walker ” claiming to be with the Geauga County Sheriff’s Office.
The caller proceeds to tell victims they have a missed court appearance and now have a warrant for their arrest.
