A Comfort man with a history of drug arrests has been sentenced to 50 years in prison for possessing and selling cocaine and other drugs, according to officials. Federico Neri , 47, was convicted on a charge of manufacturing and delivering with intent to distribute a controlled substance, according to a social media post from the Kendall County District Attorney’s Office.
HILL COUNTRY: Boerne ISD raises workers' pay, adds retention bonuses During its investigation, the Kerrville Police Department watched Neri’s home, noting people would arrive at his home at 1008 Front Street in Comfort and other locations in Kendall County for brief periods before departing. Comfort is a small town on the border of Kendall and Kerr counties, about 15 miles northwest of Boerne. Kerrville police and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office searched Neri’s home on Jan. 30 after obtaining a warrant. Investigators found 43.6 grams of cocaine, 2.1 grams of methamphetamine, scales and other drug paraphernalia, according to the district attorney’s office. Neri has a history of drug arrests in the Hill Country, including in Comal, Gillepsie and Kerr counties, according to officials.
