A traffic stop led Mobile police to arrest two people for allegedly stealing air conditioning units.
Around 9 a.m. Tuesday, officers patrolling the area of Newburn Road and Highway 158 spotted a vehicle for which authorities were on the lookout and pulled it over, according to the Mobile Police Department .
MPD said the man and woman inside were detained in reference to numerous burglaries and thefts of air conditioners from residences and commercial properties. Authorities said the thefts occurred over a two-month time frame.Dickerson is charged with one count each of first-degree criminal mischief and second-degree theft of property, and six counts of first-degree theft of property.
