The dual character setup gave Nwadiwe a chance to spin the story in an unusual direction when both of his characters, Wendell Morris and Vic Ethanol, entered into conversation with each other. That turned the story from a simple send-up of a genre to something deeper. It was entirely unplanned and is an excellent example of the power of this style of storytelling.
“It was as beautiful a gift as you can get in the world of improv,” said Wysocki. “It unlocked a thing for us. I am so lucky to be playing with people that are operating on this caliber.”
