On Friday, Katseye made their big Coachella debut, opening with their new single “Pinky Up” with five — instead of their usual six — members onstage. Manon Bannerman , whosefrom the group was announced in February, didn’t appear onstage with her bandmates. But that doesn’t mean she wasn’t at Coachella — she was spotted with Chappell Roan in the crowd of Sabrina Carpenter’s headliner set a few hours later.
After Katseye’s label, HYBE x Geffen, announced Manon’s break in February, citing health reasons, Manon shared in her own statement that “sometimes things unfold in ways we don’t fully control, but I’m trusting the bigger picture.” Last week, she postedthat she’d been having “positive conversations” with the label. Still, the only special guests on Katseye’s stage were Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, the voices ofManon, meanwhile, seems to have had a great weekend attending Coachella as a nonperforming celebrity.
After footage of her taking in Carpenter’s set alongside Roan emerged, fans alsoto have seen her hanging out with Ice Spice. On Saturday, she took a photo with Lizzo at Justin Bieber’s after-party.
