The state will be getting federal disaster assistance for the Matanuska-Susitna Borough windstorm that happened in December of last year, FEMA said.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - The state will be getting federal disaster assistance for the Matanuska-Susitna Borough windstorm that happened in December of last year, FEMA said.Power outages spanned multiple areas of Southcentral Alaska, but multiple in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough lasted for days.
