Hinchingbrooke Hospital in Huntingdon, one of four in the East of England severely affected by Raac, will be redeveloped, with work potentially starting in 2027. The government has prioritized the hospital's redevelopment due to safety concerns related to the presence of Raac in its construction. While awaiting the redevelopment, the hospital's estates team has implemented safety measures and structural supports.

A hospital ravaged by Raac has been added to the government's priority list for redevelopment - which could begin as soon as 2027.

Ms Coffey added: "Safety is and will continue to be our main priority and we are working with NHP to understand what this means for our completion date.
