Now it’s celebrating a major milestone. Debbie and her father Red opened up 40 years ago. Red's Little School House in Grady is celebrating 40 years. It's a place with a lot of history and food that'll keep you coming back.It all started when their catering business outgrew Dad’s barn. “We wanted a legal place to cater and maybe serve a few locals,” she said. That was the start of Red’s Little School House deep in south Montgomery County.“It’s like going to Grandma’s house. Look at my shirt, if you ate any better, it’s like grandma cooked it.” Red's Little School House in Grady is celebrating 40 years. It's a place with a lot of history and food that'll keep you coming back.Two years ago, Debbie was ready to call it quits. She wanted to spend more time at home with her dad. So she let folks know on Facebook they were closing for good. Loyal customers had other plans. “Everybody who ever came here, came. We made more money in two weeks than we did in 38 years,” she admitted! So Debbie turned it over to her staff and not much has changed. There are some things she misses, though.Red's Little School House in Grady is celebrating 40 years.
