Drexler Johnson has been moved from Greene County to Jackson County.

According to the jail logs, Johnson was booked on Jan. 15.PINE BELT, Miss. - Drexler Johnson , the 37-year-old man arrested in connection to the New Year’s Day triple homicide in State Line , is now in the Jackson County Adult Detention Center , according to online jail records. Drexler Johnson has been moved to another holding facility .A source tells WDAM 7 that Johnson was moved as a safety precaution.

WDAM 7 reached out to a representative of the Jackson County District Attorney’s Office and the Greene County Sheriff’s Office for official information but no one responded to our questions as of Thursday night. Johnson is charged with accessory after the fact to capital murder in the shooting deaths of Rhonda Denson, Lester Campbell and Jason Thornton at Clark’s convenience store in State Line on New Year’s Day.He is still awaiting a preliminary hearing date which has not been set.
