DOTHAN, Ala. - Several Wiregrass Christmas parades and events are having to either be moved or completely scrapped as the area prepares for potential weather in the coming days.On Tuesday, Headland announced that their Christmas Parade , set for 6:30 p.
m. on December 4, has been canceled. On Tuesday, Rehobeth announced that the annual Christmas Parade and Craft Festival, originally scheduled for December 5, will now be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on December 7. The parade will begin at 5 p.m. On Wednesday, Enterprise announced that both their Christmas Parade and the Whoville Celebration would be postponed to next week. The parade, originally scheduled for December 4, will now be held at 6:30 p.m. on December 11, while the Whoville Celebration, originally scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on December 6, will now be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on December 13. The Whoville Scavenger Hunt will also be moved to December 20. On Wednesday, Troy announced that their Christmas Parade, originally scheduled for December 1, will now be held at 7 p.m. on December 8. On Wednesday, Hartford announced that their Hometown Holidays event, set for 9 a.m. on December 6, has been canceled.
