It’s time for The Rundown!. Friday night will feature a reception at Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts, Saturday there will be a Family Fun Day, hosted by Van Van & Heiress Harris, at Carver High School as well as the Stars for Freedom Rally. There will be several special guests such as Big Boi, Terrence J., Pastor Mike, Jr., Larenz Tate and more. This Saturday the concert series will feature Gumptown Brass on the stage. Also this weekend at Montgomery Whitewater is theis happening this weekend in the city of Opp. There will be food, snake shows, snake handling, children’s activities, arts and crafts, and live music. The Council on Substance Abuse is hosting a free event for female veterans, active-duty members and spouses, Paint & Punch is happening Saturday afternoon starting at 1:00 p.m. Take a moment and come and enjoy yourself. On Sunday in Millbrook, there will be a VETS Fish Fry starting at noon. There will be Fried Catfish, Fries, Coleslaw & Hushpuppies. This fundraiser will support local Alabama veterans.
