The El Paso County Sheriff's Office has issued pre-evacuation warnings for people near Squirrel Creek Road South to Myers Road between Milne Road and South Peyton Highway due to a large fire near Hammer Road and Hanover Road.
Residents are asked to be prepared to leave; however, if you are in danger, you are asked to evacuate immediately. News5 has a crew at the scene and will update this web story as we learn more.
