The 25-year-old died from smoke inhalation, according to the Butler County Coroner’s Office.

Griffin Darrow , 25, of Cincinnati , died from smoke inhalation, according to the Butler County Coroner’s Office. As part of their investigation, OSHA will conduct inspections and interview employees and witnesses.

The federal agency will also compile a final report that will be made available to the public. “We can confirm that OSHA has opened an investigation into this incident. OSHA has six months to complete this investigation,” an OSHA spokesman told FOX19 NOW Tuesday morning.Fire crews forced to halt initial search for victim The worker, now identified as Darrow, was pronounced dead at the scene and two others were taken to a hospital with burns when the fire broke out about 1 a.m. Sunday at the 600,000 square-foot plant on 14 acres off Port Union Road, according to the Fairfield Fire Department. The huge blaze at the 600,000 square-foot facility over 14 acres took seven hours to put out, Fairfield Deputy Fire Chief Steve Conn told FOX19 NOW.Drone video shows the aftermath of the fire and roof collapse at Koch Foods in Fairfield that killed one person.Fire crews had to abandon their search for the worker whose body was later found “due to untenable heat and structural conditions,” Conn said.Darrow was found “near partially collapsed structural components within the fire area,” he said. The Greater Cincinnati Hazardous Materials Unit responded because there are ammonia tanks inside the plant.Still, as a precaution, Butler County’s Emergency Management Agency issued a shelter-in-place order for a two-mile radius around 4 a.m.The hazardous materials team remained on scene monitoring the atmosphere, Conn said. Koch Foods is one of the region’s largest employers, and this fire has significantly impacted their operations, Conn said.Damage will be ‘into the tens of millions’ A damage estimate has not been released yet, but the deputy fire chief said Monday, “It’ll be into the tens of millions, if not more. I can’t even begin to guess. And then there is lost revenue....” Koch “company officials are coordinating efforts to plan for the next steps in their recovery,” Conn said. The portion of the plant where the fire occurred is the most recently built building, and a third one is being built now, he noted.FOX19 NOW reached out to representatives of Koch Foods on Monday and again on Tuesday.North Ridgeville High School student dies ‘suddenly and unexpectedly’Woman, 28, shot and killed in Starbucks drive-thru when man approaches her with gunNursing home manager stole money from 50+ residents for years, police sayReward offered for female sex offender wanted by the U.S. Marshals, Stark County SheriffCase against Rocky River boyfriend arrested for strangulation, assault dismissed without prejudice
