CLEVELAND , Ohio - The U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested a man Monday wanted for killing a woman and injuring a teen. 20-year-old Joseph Harris Jr. was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for the aggravated murder of 19-year-old Crystal Pittman .
Previous 19 News coverage: 19-year-old woman killed in Slavic Village shooting, 15-year-old sister injured When officers arrived, they located Pittman in the living room with a gunshot wound to the head, and her 15-year-old sister had a gunshot wound in her back. Her sister was transported to MetroHealth for her injuries, and Harris was identified as a suspect in the incident. Members of the NOVFTF arrested Harris at an apartment Monday in the 4300 block of Northfield Road in Cleveland. While task force members were trying to arrest him, Harris was attempting to flush a handgun down the toilet.Today was another safe arrest of a violent fugitive with a firearm for our task force.
