“I never saw a picture of anything, just a lot of people swearing they saw a monkey and wondering if they are crazy too,” said Erica Melton. 19 news went out on some “monkey business” to find the animal. A crew drove around town hoping to find the ape. They didn’t have much luck. Chardon police say they’ve received two calls about the monkey. Officers didn’t find anything when they responded.“It was not a monkey, it was definitely a fox, it is a sick fox, unfortunately you haven’t been able to corral it at this point, but it was definitely not a monkey, said Vanderlind. It’s unclear if the fox found in Geneva is what people are seeing in Chardon claiming it’s the money.“If you saw a monkey, what would you do, I would say oh wow.
