GENEVA COUNTY , Ala. - Geneva County Coroner Donny Adkinson has now identified a man who died Tuesday morning. The man, identified as 79-year-old Jimmy Wayne Owen of Westville, Florida, died as a result of what Adkinson described as “injuries sustained in a horse-related accident.” Hartford EMS, Slocomb EMS, the Geneva County Sheriff’s Department and the Geneva County Coroner’s Office were among those that responded to the scene off Highnote Road near Hartford.
