OnePlus appears to be trying to avoid that, though support for specific OnePlus or Oppo wireless charging pucks still hasn’t been confirmed in the source provided. Less about specs, more about comfort OnePlus is also framing this as a serious shooter accessory. The promo images highlight custom button mapping, combined touch and button inputs, and a built-in gaming antenna for stronger signal. Faster inputs sound good on a poster, but heat, battery drain, and cable placement are what usually ruin long sessions first. The big question before launch The controller is only announced in China for April 28, 2026, and there’s no confirmed global release. OnePlus also notes that the controller is sold separately and that final details should come from official announcements. If OnePlus confirms support for its own or Oppo’s fan-equipped wireless charging accessories, this could be a genuinely smart phone gaming add-on. If not, it’s still a thoughtful controller, just with a less distinctive reason to care.
