CLEVELAND, Ohio - A 19-year-old man was arraigned on Tuesday after he allegedly intentionally hit a referee with his car on Sunday. According to a Cleveland Metroparks Police spokesperson, officers responded to the Brookside Reservation on Sunday afternoon.
The victim was taken to the hospital to receive medical attention. According to Cleveland Metroparks Police, the victim, whose name has not been released, was a referee for a flag football game that had been taking place in the Metroparks. Ruble is charged with felonious assault and tampering with evidence. On Monday, Ruble was arraigned in Cleveland Municipal Court, where his bond was set at $30,000.
