Neighbors called for help after spotting a puppy atop the chimney of a crumbling home.

Neighbors called for help March 31 after spotting a pit bull puppy, roughly 3 or 4 months old, atop the chimney of a crumbling home,.

Officials with the Detroit Fire Department responded to the scene and set up their ladder truck, climbed to the roof and pulled the pup to safety.

Matt Pepper, the president and CEO of Michigan Humane, told the Free Press that Stack has a “great personality.”

He added the puppy is a bit “mischievous” and said whoever adopts him will “get a great dog but one they’re going to keep an eye on.”
