The nationwide tour continues to build momentum toward the FIFA World Cup 26™ with a community celebration in Northeast Philadelphia on May 17, featuring immersive soccer experiences, local partnerships, and youth-focused impact.
Mobile Experience Tour with a stop in Northeast Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in partnership with Telemundo62. The event will take place on Sunday, May 17, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at ACME Market , bringing an engaging, family-friendly celebration of soccer, community, and culture to the region. As part of a broader initiative designed to inspire future leaders through sport and community, Tu Momento.

“This initiative is about more than soccer, it’s about inspiring young people, celebrating local leaders, and building lasting connections as we look ahead to the FIFA World Cup 26™. ”Hosted in collaboration with Telemundo62, NBC10, and NBC Sports Philadelphia, the Philadelphia stop will feature a dynamic lineup of programming and community engagement activities in partnership with ACME Market , Rumba 106.1FM, Comcast Xfinity, Safe-Hub, JT Dorsey Foundation, and local youth soccer organization Global United FC.and will include appearances from Telemundo62 on-air talent, as well as members of the NBC10 bilingual news team.
The Xfinity Activation Van will also be onsite for attendees to recharge their devices at their charging station, take a spin on the prize wheel for fun soccer themed giveaways, and hang out and play soccer games on their video game system. As part of the celebration, the City of Philadelphia will present Telemundo62 with an official proclamation recognizing its impact and leadership in serving the local community and its role as a key voice leading into the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
In addition, Telemundo62 will present check awards to local nonprofit organizations Safe-Hub and the JT Dorsey Foundation as part of the Comcast NBCUniversal and Telemundo Station Group. This initiative provides critical funding to organizations using soccer as a vehicle to create opportunity, develop leadership, and strengthen communities in FIFA World Cup 2026™ host cities.
Attendees will enjoy interactive fan experiences, including a soccer clinic led by Safe-Hub, soccer-themed activities, music, and community resources designed to engage families and inspire the next generation both on and off the field. Initiative, led by Comcast NBCUniversal and Telemundo Station Group in partnership with the U.S. Soccer Federation’s Soccer Forward Foundation, is a $600,000 investment supporting 17 nonprofit organizations across FIFA World Cup 2026™ host cities.
The initiative provides funding to local groups using soccer as a tool to expand access, promote physical and mental well-being, and empower youth through leadership and community engagement. As part of Telemundo’s. , the program is designed to create lasting impact beyond the tournament by strengthening communities and increasing participation in the sport nationwide.
