The lure of oysters and tunes drew San Antonians and other Fiesta-goers to the grounds of St. Mary’s University for day two of Fiesta Oyster Bake , the biggest live music bash of the annual 11-day celebration.
Oyster Bake has been part of Fiesta more than a century ago when a group of St. Mary’s University alumni got together on the banks of the San Antonio River. It’s grown into one of Fiesta’s signature events. Traditionally held the first Friday and Saturday of Fiesta, the event is organized by the St. Mary’s Alumni Association, which uses it to raise money for scholarships and other programs.
