Korie Robertson, wife of Willie Robertson, took to social media to explain how the extended Robertson family live together.

"We do live on a family compound, I guess you could say. It's really just a neighborhood that we all live here together," she said.

"Over 50 of us live on the property. " The property is located in West Monroe, La. and includes members from the Robertson family and Korie’s extended family. Many of their adult children have settled their with their own kids.

"Willie and I say it's the best thing we ever did, was create that space our home that our kids wanted to come back to," Korie said. "They all kind of went off to college or got married or pursued a career or whatever for a few years and then came back...we feel like that is literally our greatest success, the best thing we ever did.

"I think the thing is just make your home fun and a place where your young people want to be — and invite them," the mom of six said. "There's no force. There's no judgment or shame of like, 'You should live here.

You should do this,'" Korie continued.

"It's more just like, 'Hey, we're having fun, it's a good life over here. If you wanna be a part of it, come on.
