A family safely escaped their burning home early Thursday morning.
Multiple fire departments were called out for mutual aid. According to North Ridgeville firefighters, the cause of the blaze remains under investigation, but it did begin in a second floor bedroom. Firefighters added the fire was quickly extinguished, but it was roiling good when they arrived on scene.
