RICHLAND COUNTY, Ohio - Richland police sent an alert Thursday asking for help identifying a suspect in a break-in at the Education Center . According to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, four individuals broke into and vandalized the Education Center at Fleming Falls Preserve Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. Damages totaled more than $2,000, including two smashed security cameras and two other damaged cameras.
Additionally, the individuals stole a fire extinguisher and set it off in the building, which building staff had to clean up.
“Fleming Falls is funded by your tax dollars, and we need your help protecting this beautiful place,” the sheriff’s department wrote. Anyone who recognizes any of the individuals or knows anything about the break-in is asked to contact the Richland County Sheriff’s Office at 419-524-2412.
