Earth Day Mobile Bay was held at the Fairhope Municipal Pier Park . It was a free family-friendly celebration featuring environmental exhibits , ecological information and live music along the Mobile Bay waterfront.
Organizers say there are a number of important issues for everyone to consider this Earth Day. One group talked about electric vehicles. “I think electric vehicles are very important for the environment, and they’re also extremely energy efficient, and therefore they’re much cheaper to drive than gas vehicles,” said Henry Brewster, co-chairman of the Bay Area Chapter of Drive Electric Alabama.
