One of the skills of a good Dungeon Master is always having a new idea handy. Sometimes it comes out of nowhere as a reaction to players heading in an unexpected direction during acampaign. Sometimes it means having prepared something as a backup plan and quietly shifting the story in that direction.

I’ve found it very easy to convert these adventures to my preferred system, often by pulling out the monsters they use and substituting ones from the system I’m running.module by Jennell Jaquays. The books include the original adventure with modern designer commentary, a new version built for the DCC rules set and an expansion book with new adventures for after the players complete the original. The company has also released this set with Fifth Edition rules but those are available separately from this offer.. Adventure production is their strength and this collection offers several from the line. They are built to be dropped into any world whether published or homebrew.fills that role here. There are eight adventures here full of material that can be used right away by the Dungeon Master who has game night coming up far too soon.One of the earliest entries in the Old School Revival looked to keep the deep material of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons while adjusting the mechanics to a more modern audience. Castles & Crusades is a new system that feels like an old one which explains its popularity over the past 20 years. Of the four modules in this bundle, three began life as Dungeon Crawl Classics stories. For Dungeon Masters who have both, it’s a good way to see how to convert one system to another.
