) - AAA Alabama spokesperson Clay Ingram is sharing when you should and shouldn’t have your hazard lights on while in the car. You’ve probably seen it before: Someone is zooming through traffic above the speed limit with their flashers on.
He says drivers should know that just because your emergency lights are on, that doesn’t make your car an emergency vehicle. Just having the flashers on isn’t illegal, but disobeying other traffic laws whether they’re on or not, is illegal no matter the situation.
