DOTHAN , Ala. -A city of Dothan court worker who advocates a better life for others is apologizing for her embarrassing arrest. Stephanie Harden posted to her Facebook page, “I am truly, so deeply sorry to let you down.
At the end of the day, we are all human. We falter and make mistakes.” Orange Beach police charged Harden with DUI on Thursday and impounded the city of Dothan vehicle she drove. Harden had been attending a work-related conference in Baldwin County, Alabama. She has relentlessly advocated for those in recovery and a better life for Dothan’s growing homeless population. “Don’t make your assessment of someone’s character based on the worst day of their lives,” she told Facebook friends.
