CLEVELAND , Ohio - The woman convicted of stabbing a man to death in Cleveland , was sentenced by Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas Judge John Russo Wednesday to 14-18 years in prison.
Last month, Delcresha Box, 46, pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter, felonious assault, and tampering with evidence.
“Malik was only 25 years old when his life was stolen from him in a senseless, violent, and reckless manner. Because of her actions, Malik will never get married. He will never have a chance to be a father, to grow old, or to pass his wisdom and legacy down to his generations,” said Erin Williams, Malik’s mother.
