ENTERPRISE, Ala. - Charges are mounting against Treilon Jamal Parkmon, the murder suspect accused of a shooting rampage that police say endangered residents in an upscale Enterprise neighborhood.
Parkmon, 37 of Enterprise, is charged with murder in connection with the death of Darius Ballard, who police say was shot Friday night. Court documents also list charges of reckless endangerment and shooting into an unoccupied building.
According to charging documents, bullets landed near homes along Harvest Hill Circle. In one incident, investigators allege a bullet struck a near a home and came to rest on the second step of an in-ground pool, while another round went through a fence at a neighboring home.
Police also allege one shot fired from a 10 mm semi-automatic handgun struck a Ford Mustang occupied by Ballard. Enterprise police did not provide Ballard’s city of residence in a statement. In addition to murder and two reckless endangerment counts, Parkmon faces one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle. Jail records show he was booked Saturday.
