Max Verstappen has led laps in the historic 24 Hours of Nürburgring, battling with Daniel Juncadella, and Kevin Estre. With a change in pit stop timings, the Dutchman maintained his lead, overtaking the others and securing the victory.
Max Verstappen has officially led laps in the 24 Hours of Nürburgring , overtaking Daniel Juncadella at the end of the first hour and taking control of the race.
Juncadella was running in second position, challenging and passing Kevin Estre for a better spot. With a heavy downpour, Juncadella pitted at the end of the second hour, leaving Verstappen to regain third position. After the local yellows, Verstappen made his move for the lead and maintained it throughout the third and fourth hours, slowly increasing his lead over Estre.
The final pit stop saw Verstappen replaced by Jules Gounon, and with more than half the race remaining, the Dutch driver showed his capability of fighting for the overall victory at the famous race
