The culinary scene across the Peninsula is buzzing with exciting events and dining options, from Easter brunches to exclusive chef appearances and a multi-day culinary celebration. Several establishments are offering special Easter brunches to celebrate the holiday. CordeValle Winery, newly reopened, is hosting an Easter egg hunt starting at 10 a.m., followed by a brunch buffet.
The buffet will feature a wide array of dishes including salads, eggs Benedict, French toast, an omelet station, breakfast meats, pastries and toast, shrimp cocktail, chicken strips and French fries, berry and granola parfaits, and desserts. Live music will accompany the brunch from 1-4 p.m. Tickets for the brunch range from $45 to $100. Gardenia Los Gatos is featuring Easter brunch menu specials, available from April 3 to April 5, including a lobster roll with lemon dill aioli and steak frites. In Menlo Park, Porta Blu at Hotel Nia is presenting an Easter brunch buffet with chef-attended stations. Guests can enjoy herb-roasted spring lamb and king salmon with salsa verde, alongside brunch favorites like eggs Florentine, kale and chorizo frittata, sourdough French toast with berries and vanilla bean whipped cream, avocado toast with fresh mozzarella and chili crunch, and rosemary bacon. The buffet will also have a bagel and smoked salmon station, a raw bar with prawn cocktail and oysters, seasonal salads and sides, house-baked pastries, and a dessert display. Sparkling Bellinis and nonalcoholic spritzes with fresh fruit purées are available, as well as family-friendly activities. These activities include a courtyard Easter egg hunt, lawn games, and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny. Coffee from Verve Coffee Roasters and tea from Rishi Tea are included with the brunch service, which costs $115 per adult and $60 for children 12 and under. For a more casual breakfast or brunch experience, Fambrini’s Café in Palo Alto remains a reliable choice, serving breakfast, giant sandwiches, and salads all day. The menu includes options like the three-egg scramble with goat cheese, avocado, and asparagus, along with the eggs Benedict with baked ham. The restaurant has a well-known efficiency in the kitchen despite the long lines. Beyond the holiday celebrations, the Peninsula is also hosting unique culinary events. Ritual at Manresa is hosting a series of events featuring Chef Álvaro Clavijo, whose restaurant El Chato was recently ranked No. 1 in Latin America. Chef Clavijo will be in Los Gatos for a week, alongside Luis Caviglia, co-founder of Ritual. The events include meet and greets with an open bar of Champagne and oysters, and communal dinner reservations. Another highlight of the Peninsula's food scene is the upcoming Flavors of the Peninsula, a ten-day event that offers diners a chance to explore a variety of restaurants. From April 23 to May 3, participating restaurants from Menlo Park to the San Mateo coast will be offering prix-fixe menus. The event starts with an evening of elite chef tastings at Coastside to Bayside at South San Francisco’s Camber on April 23. Dining establishments like Hurrica in Redwood City, Oak + Violet in Menlo Park, Mezza Luna in Half Moon Bay and Stella in Burlingame will participate in the event. In addition to these culinary events, there is also the Martha’s Kitchen Luncheon, which will raise funds to feed the hungry in the community on April 24 at Campbell Community Center
