BRECKSVILLE, Ohio - Attorney General Yost announced Wednesday that a lawsuit was filed against a Brecksville man accused of taking customers’ money for collectible model trains that he never delivered.
It alleges that Chase D. Wheeler operated Chase’s Train Garage, a business that advertised limited-edition model trains for preorder through social media and online marketplaces. This guy’s sales practices went off the rails. Cheating customers out of what they pay for isn’t the way business is done in Ohio. According to the lawsuit, Wheeler accepted full payment for model trains from the manufacturer Broadway Limited Imports and told customers they would be shipped upon release.
He also did not provide refunds, Yost said. The Consumer Protection Section of the Ohio Attorney General’s Office first received complaints about this business back in August 2025.
