“I wish!” Lisa Whelchel, who played Blair Warner on the series, told PauseRewind’s Elizabeth Stanton. “I'm always hoping somebody picks up the phone and says, ‘Hey, let's try to make this happen again.’” Fans were close a couple years ago when Whelchel, Nancy McKeon, and Mindy Cohn stopped by “The Drew Barrymore Show” for the host’s birthday, but it was the full original lineup . There was also almost some kind of revival after the success of the recreation of an episode for the “Live in Front of a Studio Audience” series in 2021, but nothing came to fruition.
“It was very exciting. It looked like it was going to happen. We had contracts signed and everything, and it just nobody could get on the same page. And so it just imploded, which was really disappointing,” Whelchel revealed.
“I mean, they just had a ‘Scrubs’ reboot. I don't know why they don't make ‘The Facts of Life’ reboot.”When asked if her character Blair would collect anything, Whelchel quipped, “Diamonds” without hesitation.

It's meaningful to him. I think that people that have things that they're not really collectors, they do want to give them to people that are going to appreciate them and take care of them.”
