CLEVELAND , Ohio - Cleveland police said a driver having a possible medical emergency crashed into a building early Monday morning, causing it to catch on fire.
The business is located next door to the Taco Bell and on the Lakewood border. Employees at the Dunkin’ Donuts across the street tell 19 News the driver is a regular who was in the drive-through before the crash. One employee says that as they went to take the order, the man simply started to pull away, speeding up as he crossed the street before going into the building. When firefighters arrived, the 38-year-old man was trapped inside the vehicle and needed to be rescued.
