Singer SZA debuted a new look with bubblegum pink highlights, paired with a cherry cola shade for the rest of her hair. She promoted her upcoming comedy, 'One of Them Days', while fans and celebrities praised her stunning transformation.
SZA isn't afraid to have fun with her hair. The 35-year-old singer took to Instagram on Wednesday, January 8, to show off her new bubblegum highlights . The singer, who previously sported dark brown coils, rocked hot pink money pieces that were cut to her chin, thanks to hairstylist Devante Turnbull. The rest of her coils were dyed a cherry cola shade.
To highlight her vibrant mane even more, she paired the new tresses with a black top featuring nude polka dots, a plunging necklace and a tie that wrapped around her waist. Styled by Alejandra LaPilusa, the One of Them Days star matched the piece with cropped leggings, layered necklaces and sandals. Last up was glam, and SZA complimented her look with a full beat thanks to the help of makeup artist Deanna Paley. Her look featured bright pink lips, smokey eyeshadow and a pop of highlighter in her inner corner. SZA also rocked a detailed henna on her hands created by Neha Assar Panchal. In another social media clip, SZA flipped her hair around, showing fans every angle of her freshly dyed tresses. “PRESS THANGS FOR #ONEOFTHEMDAYSMOVIE 💝 COMING JANUARY 17th 🫶🏾,” SZA captioned the post, promoting her comedy with costar Keke Palmer. Celebrity friends and fans praised SZA’s new look in the comments section. “Gorgeous girl 😍😍😍😍😍,” Palmer, 31, wrote, as singer Yebba Smith added, “Piiink!! 🎀. Chloe Bailey gushed that she looked “so pretty,” as another fan commented, “Loving this new pink hair 😍.” This isn’t the first time SZA has played around with the color of her curls. In July 2024, she sported copper locks that were cut slightly past her shoulders with her bangs cascading slightly past her eyebrows.
