Sports journalist Dianna Russini has resigned from her position following the circulation of photos showing her with married New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel. The resignation comes amid public scrutiny and accusations of unprofessional conduct from fellow journalist Britt McHenry Froyd, who claimed Russini's actions were detrimental to women in sports. Russini stated her resignation was to prevent the situation from defining her career, emphasizing her fifteen-year track record of professional conduct and trust with sources.
“I’m sure you were told to submit this or that you’d get fired instead. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out,” a spiteful Froyd posted to X on Tuesday as she aimed at“We “know who you really are and what you’ve been up to for years,” she added.
