More Texas public schools are turning to uncertified teachers amid a shortage of educators.
More than a third of newly hired teachers in Texas lack certification, as more and more public school districts turn to uncertified educators amid a statewide teacher shortage, a Hearst analysis of Texas Education Agency data showed.
