MagicCon Las Vegas recently provided a sneak peek at the upcoming Marvel Super Heroes set and The Hobbit. The most exciting reveal was the first look at the Reality Fracture set, which is set to be the conclusion to a years-long Magic: The Gathering story arc.
The set takes place in an alternate reality created by Planeswalker Jace Beleren to fix the Multiverse. The alternate reality cards in Reality Fracture have the potential to shake up a lot of decks across multiple formats. The set is bringing back a decades-old gimmick, Planar Chaos, which gave us alternate reality cards in a different color of mana.
The first alternate reality card we've seen is Stingcaster Mage, a red version of Snapcaster Mage, which gives one of your instants or sorcery cards the flashback keyword.
