) - A Baldwin County crash involving two vehicles claimed the life of a Mobile woman who was standing in the roadway when she was hit, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.The woman, identified as Jasmine R.
Harris, 19, of Mobile, was hit by a GMC Sierra pickup truck driven by a 22-year-old Lucedale, Mississippi, man. After hitting Harris, the pickup truck hit a Mitsubishi Mirage that was in the roadway after being involved in a prior crash, according to authorities. ALEA said Harris had been a passenger in the Mitsubishi driven by an 18-year-old from Mobile. Harris got out and was standing in the roadway when the pickup truck hit her, ALEA said. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet said whether any charges are pending against the driver of the pickup truck.
