It’s almost time for the kids to head back to the classroom and we have some events for you to get them started.
On Saturday, starting at 9 a.m., Refuge Temple AME Zion Church in Montgomery will be having a Back-to-School Bash Clothing Giveaway . There will be clear book bags and school supplies giveaways. The event will last until noon.
Also, starting at 9 a.m. in Selma, Wallace Community College will be hosting their Family Fun Day community event. There will be music, door prizes, food, games, face painting and more. Continuing with the Saturday starting at 9 a.m. theme, gather your family and friends and head to Alabama Safari Park. Where they will be having theirwill be this Saturday at Garrett Coliseum starting at 3 p.m. There will be food, activities, inflatables, entertainment, giveaways and so much more. MPS Back-to-School Bash will last until 6 p.m. On Sunday, starting at 2 p.m. there will be a Back-to-School event with a school supplies, haircuts, and clothing giveaway. There will also be food at this event. It lasts until 5 p.m. In downtown Notasulga, relax under the stars and enjoy a great movie. There will be local arts and crafts vendors as well as a variety of food trucks.
