South Alabama strengthens its offensive line by welcoming former Arkansas center Amaury Wiggins via the NCAA transfer portal. Wiggins, a 6-foot-3, 310-pound player, brings experience from his time at Arkansas and Coffeyville Community College. This addition expands South Alabama's transfer haul, which includes other notable players like Ni Mansell (South Carolina) and Leavy Johnson (Western Kentucky).

South Alabama has bolstered its offensive line by adding former Arkansas center Amaury Wiggins through the NCAA transfer portal. Coach Major Applewhite confirmed the addition of Wiggins, a 6-foot-3, 310-pound player from Pensacola, Florida. Wiggins saw action in five games over the past two seasons at center for the Razorbacks. Prior to Arkansas, he played at Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College, earning all-conference honors in 2022. Wiggins has one year of eligibility remaining.

This marks Wiggins as the 12th portal transfer for South Alabama in the current cycle and the third offensive lineman. The Jaguars have also welcomed Ni Mansell (South Carolina) and Leavy Johnson (Western Kentucky) to their offensive line since the end of the 2024 season. Joining Wiggins and the other portal additions are several spring-semester newcomers, including junior-college transfers Keenan Phillips (Georgia Military) at running back, Brec Long (Coffeyville) at tight end, and Dominic Wiseman (Iowa Western) at defensive tackle. These junior-college transfers are now enrolled in classes and are set to participate in the offseason program and spring practice. Meanwhile, running back Jarvis Durr, who played in a reserve role for the Jaguars over the past two seasons, has transferred to Northwest Mississippi Community College. Durr's departure, along with the arrivals of Phillips and other newcomers, leaves South Alabama with just four scholarship running backs for the spring. Senior Kentrel Bullock and Iverson Celestine, along with sophomore P.J. Martin, are the returning running backs
