For the third time in four weeks, SAFC will travel again Saturday when it faces Miami FC.
San Antonio FC is getting used to being on the road. San Antonio opened the month with a 1-0 loss at Las Vegas , followed by a 0-0 draw against Orange County in the only home game of the month. Last week, San Antonio got its first road win of the season with a 3-1 win at Hartford . “It’s always tough to play on the road,” San Antonio midfielder Kevon Lambert said. “We have to pull up to this game with the same mentality as we did going to Hartford .
” Miami was bottom of the Eastern Conference last July when they visited San Antonio, but despite playing most of the game with 10 men it defeated SAFC 1-0. Much has changed since then. Miami FC has overhauled its club from top to bottom, but so did San Antonio FC. “It’s a completely different coaching staff and the entire roster is different and to be fair so are we,” Marcina said. “There are only a few guys that will remember that. For the other ones, there are no emotions attached to it.
